The word Tagubtob is a Filipino (Cebuano) language that means a sound or energy that can be felt by others, it resonates.

Our team
Tagubtob is a force of homegrown storytellers from the six regions of Mindanao. All are bringing in local and context-specific perspectives in each story.
Most of the time, the narratives going around the multimedia space about Mindanao are off tangent and skewed, which maybe why our homeland seems undertold. There is always something odd when outsiders tell our stories for us, when they know very little of our true context and experiences as Mindanawons. If there’s anyone who could tell Mindanao stories best, it would be us, Mindanawon storytellers.
